United Camera Repair was founded in 1955 by Doug Nelson. As the business grew, Mr. Nelson hired technicians Dennis Timmerman (1962) and Thomas De Winter (1965) to keep up with the demand. When the business outgrew the basement shop in Mr. Nelson's home, he moved it to the present location in the summer of 1967.

Denny and Tom purchased the business in 1991 and continued to grow the business through fast, reliable repairs at a fair cost, and having technicians available to answer customers questions.

Today, we are continuing to change with technology and offer service for digital as well as film based cameras, camcorders, and projectors.  We also offer repair services for iPod, and for video game consoles like Playstation and XBox. Our technicians are factory trained in various specialties and continue to offer the same high quality reliable service that our reputation was built on. Our office staff is dedicated to giving you, fast, friendly, personal service.
